Mg
Punchy intro
Sleep like a BABY, wake up like a QUEEN!!! Mg is magnesium glycinate — the CHILL form of magnesium, the one that actually helps your body wind down, relax those tight muscles, and drift off into the sweetest sleep!!! If your nervous system has been running on overdrive, honey, this is your OFF switch!!!
Nerdy deep-dive
Each 3-capsule serving delivers 275mg of elemental magnesium (from 2,500mg of magnesium glycinate). Magnesium glycinate is magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine — its one of the most absorbable and gentle forms, known for being easy on the stomach AND for glycines calming effect on the nervous system. Magnesium is involved in 300+ processes in the body: muscle relaxation, nervous system calm, sleep quality, bone health, and healthy heart rhythm. Most of us are low in it thanks to stress, caffeine, and modern food. Other ingredients: hypromellose (veggie capsule), magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, rice flour. Gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Ninety capsules per bottle.
Who it’s for
The tired-but-wired girlie whose brain wont SHUT OFF at bedtime (you KNOW who you are). Anyone with tight, cranky muscles — legs, shoulders, jaw, all of it. The stressed-out sweetheart whose nervous system needs a warm hug in capsule form. Wellness lovers looking for foundational mineral support for sleep, calm, and muscle comfort.
Medication interactions
Magnesium can bind to certain antibiotics in the gut and reduce how much of the antibiotic your body absorbs — this applies to tetracyclines (like doxycycline) and fluoroquinolones (like ciprofloxacin). If youre on one of these antibiotics, take Mg at least 2–4 hours APART from your antibiotic dose (or ask your pharmacist for exact timing). Bone medications called bisphosphonates (alendronate, risedronate) can also have reduced absorption — separate by at least 2 hours. Magnesium may add to the effects of blood pressure medications (especially calcium channel blockers) — monitor your blood pressure and check with your doctor. Also important: if you have kidney disease, excess magnesium can build up in the body — talk to your doctor before taking any magnesium supplement.
Check-with-your-doctor
This is a supplement, not medical advice. If you take antibiotics, blood pressure medications, bisphosphonates, or diuretics, have kidney issues, are pregnant or nursing, or have ANY medical condition, check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Mg — especially about TIMING if youre on antibiotics.
